Default [THEME] PROJEKTXIII+: SECOND STRIKERS final release thread

Well, here we go. It's been a fun ride. I'm getting tired of working on this particular PROJEKT version, finally, but it's just in time, because it's done

People have a variety of insults to throw at me and my work. That all I do is put new graphics on the same core every time? Almost true; I mean, the changes should be obvious, but the code remains at least 90% constant each time, I'd say. That I can't come up with my own ideas because I'm using Konami's? Well, I might prove that wrong in the future, but not many people will know when it happens.

I was pretty angry about a theme-stealing incident just a short while ago (see the other thread), and I'd contemplated not releasing this at all. Why bother, when all people see in themes is the pretty exterior, and not all the effort that went in? But in the end, the reason I release the theme is the same as always: because I hope that someone out there will actually appreciate what it is.

And honestly? I think every themer wants the same. No matter who it is--I think everyone who takes time out of their lives to really create something like this wants and deserves a simple "thank you" for all they've done. Because in the end, each theme released is no more or less than a gift to everyone.

EDIT: New revision. Consider this the true final barring any new bugs. http://keternal.pestermom.com/svpr/XIII+.zip

Congrats on actually getting it complete. I really enjoyed it from the beta. And bill's music actually works well for it.

Yep, I was going to get my new page ready first, but a promise is a promise.

Regarding the music: Indeed it does! The toasty was the price of commissioning him, so to speak--I think everyone got more than bargained for, haha.

Haha, yeah, the descriptions are cheesy, campy fun (along with random other things).

I've been using your themes for a good while now. I've always enjoyed them, even if some similarities can be drawn.

Thank you for making this theme and all your themes past.

Wow, this is fantastic. The only thing that I noticed that is really a problem is that it immediately goes back to the main menu after nonstop, even if event mode is on. This might be a problem with vanilla 3.9 though (I noticed that you're using 3.9+).

Gotta love the Suicidal mods section

@ PROJECT Similarities:

The only one bugging me is the Evaluation pics

I've yet to find some decent render to replace them with though.

It's intentional, as odd as it might seem. It's to avoid some screens in the main loop that don't get enough use to be worth coding (for me, at least).

Suicide mods make KB play a lot more fun in some instances, haha.

I tried to get the old artist to make some new ones, but he's become capitalist and won't do free jobs for a friend anymore

While theming for free is fine and is what everyone does, theming at a net loss is insane and too hardcore for me, heh. You're right though, those pics have been there somewhat too long, I just lack options other than stealing Golializze art or something.
