[THEME] PROJEKTXIII+: SECOND STRIKERS [WIP]

EDIT: I realized that people might check the first post for info and assume the screens on it were current. The ones that were posted were ancient, back from when XIII started to turn into XIII+ and almost no work was done yet--while newer screens were posted in the thread, I don't want to give the wrong impression.

I believe I'm still on-schedule for 2/24 release, so keep your eyes peeled.

To be fair, you did have older versions selectable in PARTICLE, although I'm not sure you'd find them any better. I do think the new set is a pretty big improvement, though.

(And sure, give God the credit, haha.)

I don't remember the name off the top of my head, but it's one of the sports-related fonts on (I believe) dafont; that section is pretty small so it should be simple to find. (I'm at the computer lab ATM or else I'd be able to tell you more clearly.)

All three of the old-style ones (RED, AOI, XI) or just RED? Granted, they're colorhacks of each other, so once I recreate one, the others will follow, I suppose.

I'm going to remake those from scratch so they'll probably end up looking a lot nicer than they used to, but I'll try to follow my old style relatively closely.

5 games are now being referenced at once in the full title (PROJEKTXIII+: ADANCE WARRIORS SECOND STRIKERS).

1. beatmaniaIIDX15 DJ TROOPERS (structural similarities in the name)
2. Advance Wars (this one is even more obvious)
3. DDR SuperNOVA2 (NGO = Adance Wars; this is where the name came from to begin with)
4. Strikers 1945 (well, as I said)
5. Street Fighter III 3rd Strike (arguably 2nd Impact also)

Probably not--to be honest, I was going to take the whole Ad(v)ance Wars joke further originally, but it didn't happen, unfortunately. At this point it's just a matter of things I personally like.

And yeah, I'm aware they're not the strongest links; I don't claim them as influences on the theme itself. They're just games I like. Or games in series I like.

If you want another dafont army-style font, I'd say look for ATROX and SMASHED.

ATROX is pretty good--I won't be using it here (it's generally a good idea to keep fonts pretty unified), but it might get some use in the future. Thanks!

My only real criticism of it is that it's a bit too vertically squashed, but it's nothing that Photoshop can't fix.
