[Theme][SM4] beat man - THE THEME (again)[WIP]

working on this again, how is this different from the other 2 times?
1) I'm actually working on it.
2) Keysound work in SM now so beat mode isn't pointless.

a few notes:
1) This IS NOT meant to replace dedicated IIDX simulators like LR and Be-Pachi Music.
2) I need to bug the devs about some stuff, for example currently you can't map the TT to anything (out side of gameplay)

updates when I get stuff done, and THIS WILL NOT BE ACCURATE TO ANY SPECIFIC IIDX GAME, I WILL DO THIS HOWEVER THE HELL I WANT AND A BUNCH OF STUFF CAN'T BE DONE IN SM TO MY KNOWLEDGE.
7) this will only work if SM is set to 16:9, this does not mean you absolutely need a widescreen for it.
also if there is anything you want to see in this that you know is possible (or probably is) in SM mention it and I just might listen.

I'm not sure what hydrar is talking about but this is looking great regardless so keep it up; I'm sure it'll come out Fabulous.

I expect some of these from the (short!) list below to be implemented (one because you said you wanted to do some custom Lua and two because I'm a dick [I will also help you out on this if need be]):

[ScreenStage] A layout like it is in IIDX, i.e. on the Gameplay screen with the song's Genre, Title, and Artist.
[Gameplay] The bar above the percent to flash (I believe it's when you hit a note and your life goes up, I don't remember because it's been a while; hook in with LifeChangedMessageCommand or JudgmentMessageCommand [don't forget the params, check Player judgment for an example and thumb through the source code if needed])
[Eval] Whatever judgment you get the most of, there should be a flashing light to the left/right of it where there's an indented section for a light to go.

A short list because I can't think of much. You know where to find me. :)

The first two I'm pretty sure will be no problem, I don't know how I would do the last though.

A lot of progress has been made on this since the last post, screenshots will be added/updated soon.

I'm working on screenstage right now, and I'm trying to get the noteskin looking a bit nicer.

is beat gameplay mode finalized for sm4.. is it downloadable someplace, or will it be a later addon to sm?

it's not final by any means.

to get it working (in any respectable way) you will need this or StepManiaDX and AJ's noteskins (or my version of them when I get that working right)

there's also a lot of bugs in it.

I need to get back to this and take advantage of the new musicwheel to get a proper one (selected item out, etc), also I need to redo 2/3 of this.
(I've been busy and tired recently so there has been almost zero progress on both this and Optical)
