Pondering combo numbers...


Label white, number fully diffused?

(then there was a third one I was going to try but it got too bright; it was using BlendMode_Add on a clone of the numbers)

My personal preference is label and number diffused from bottom.

It reminds me of a Wii somehow. Clean and white and making me paranoid of getting it dirty despite being intangible. A great start!

Updated the frames to be neater.


In the middle of the judgment transform with the finalized combo display. This looks much better in action, trust me.

The difference between the stroke on the word "combo" and the combo number itself is somewhat jarring. Otherwise, this is pretty nifty so far.

Updates:

1) Menu music finalized, no longer is it Skyward Fire. Here's hoping people don't find it too annoying.

2) The number of backgrounds has increased from 3 to 12. However, due to my pursuit of quality, the theme is now over 30MB. Fret not, as the release version will have each of the backgrounds as 640x480 JPGs (as opposed to 1280x960 doubleres'd PNG files, which will be available for download along with the theme if you so desire).

3) Progress is being made on eval (unlike every other theme I've ever made where eval design is one of the LAST things to do!!):

They were introduced in ITG2 to show whether your step was earlier or later than Fantastic.

Things to do:
* Fix up DifficultyList (add difficulty names instead of having 25 bars max, make sure it works for both players)
* Add in the OptionIcons
* Implement a Groove Radar replacement. (More details in the future.)
