THEMES FOR STEPMANIA 3.9 WILL NOT WORK ON 4.0 [nocaps]

I decided to sticky this post because I knew people were gonna ask.

So, if you didn't take in the topic title yet:
THEMES FOR STEPMANIA 3.9 WILL NOT WORK ON 4.0 (unless you modify them).
This also goes for 3.95 themes on 4.0 (the conversion process is a bit easier here).

seriously, don't try putting unmodified 3.9 themes in 4.0. it's unsupported.

You're right. But there's a way to convert the 3.9 themes to 4.0. In the Stepmania Tools and Package Exporter, you can convert themes in a click.

That'S all i want to write.

This option does NOTHING, or at least nothing that will convert a theme.

Yeah, that option needs to be changed to say, Convert From SM3.9a22 to SM3.9a24. That was only usefull then and even then it didnt work one hundred percent of the time. However, if someone was to go and write the code to convert the ini -> xml or even lua, it would be useful again.
