[Themes][A-T] Revival Serenade [WIP]

Well, I've decided to ditch the idea of using European Aviation as the title menu music. I rather keep the whole music experience of the theme in terms of anime or JP culture at the time although I still plan on using it somewhere.....probably the high score screen.

With that, here is the title menu song for this theme: Hatsune Miku - Tori no Houshi (short).ogg

Small update for now....

- Actually ingame implimentation of the Style Select screen almost complete. A screenshot has been posted as to what the almost final version looks like.

- Revival Serenade OP intro movie is complete. Link to the video is on the first post.

I'm basically working over the final build of Nocturnal Dream I have and taking out everything I'm not using. Hopefully I will be able to cut the file size drastically by doing this.

Just a small notice that I'm still working on this theme but I want to keep a low profile on it so that people wont be eagered for me to finish it or make a beta release.

The design phase of this project is 50% complete as for the animation parts of theme is next to zero percent (I suck at animations ~ _~). More on this coming soon in the next few weeks.

ACK! Stepmania Wiki gone and I was so using it for reference on how to do things. Does anyone have any other resource tutorial sites that I can use that can possibly give me hints on how to do fonts and such?

The only thing I need to have done now is the fonts and animations. The design of most of the screens are basically done and just needs to be put into the theme now.

Also, I'm getting a playmode error when I try to set my theme up to skip the Difficulty Select screen. It's telling me that a playmode must be set before going to ScreenSelectMusic.

I'll put a unfinished version up for download soon. Just keep in mind, don't expect much.

add "PlayMode,normal" to any/all of the options on ScreenSelectStyle. That should fix it up.

I know I'm supposed to put that in the string:

NextScreen1=ScreenSelectMaster

but how do I add the "PlayMode,normal" to that? Still getting errors when I add it on and I've tried the following:

ScreenSelectMaster;PlayMode,normal
ScreenSelectMaster,PlayMode,normal
ScreenSelectMaster"PlayMode,normal"
ScreenSelectMusic ----- (same as the top 3)

I think because of the fact that I'm running using the metrics from Nocturnal Dream that I'm having these kinds of problems. I've tried what you put up there "K" but it still kicks me to the difficulty screen.

I want to skip having to go to that screen cause it will create less work for me at the time and when I'm done doing the screen work for it, I can impliment it later in patch or updated release.

Anyway, this is what I have in the StyleSelectScreen section:

Choice1=Style,single;name,single
Choice2=Style,versus;name,versus
Choice3=Style,couple;name,couple
Choice4=Style,double;name,double
Choice5=Style,solo;name,solo

When I added that string to it, it unlocked the 2 player mode options all together and still went to the difficulty screen.

Yeah, you're going to need to add a screen to that as well.

I did just take a look at the XIV- metrics though and maybe it uses NextScreen# where # is 1-5. Try both ways.
