Don't worry about that, because I'll post public download links here and in the 1st post too XD.....

I will PM back all the people that confirm during march 26th the hosting of the theme (please attach your site's link when ask for confirmation).... the deadline will be march 26th at 21:00 hrs, GMT -4 (Chile). That's mean that I won't be searching back on the thread for people that offer (that's really cool and I really apreciate that

) hosting previously to that date.... or people that PM me later than 21:00 hrs, GMT -4 (Chile). Sorry guys, but I have no enought time to do that.

Both, the public link and the private mirror link will be available since march 27th at midnight, GMT -4 (Chile).

I hope that you guys could enjoy my latest work without problems.

Some nice things that you must know before the release date:
- The theme uses a high video resolution (640x480) during all screens, even Gameplay. So slow computers will have a cutted gameplay experience (that's so bad for you)... but in my computer I have no problem at all with that feature.
- Due to some lack of options of SM3.9, certain critical sounds are present only in the announcer pack.... so disabling the announcer will have a bad effect on the theme and a result of poor game experience.
- Due to lack of time, the annoncer will be kept mostly as the original SN one.
- A Low Res pack will be available for download with a low resolution video (320x240) for the main display, gameplay will use a picture instead of the video for missing BG image. And I repeat.... if your computer cannot run this one, then you must remember to never ever ask for an altern legacy version of the theme, because I'll say NOOO!!
- Due to this is the very first release, all the bugs found on the theme must be reported to fix them in future releases or patches.
- Please promote the theme.... many people that doesn't know how to get themes will be searching on the net for something like that.

I know extremely well what it's like to have work stolen, but this isn't the way to go about it. I'd be willing to stand up for you if someone stole your work, but you can't take legal action when the theme itself is basically illegal.

At the end of the day, you take a risk when you release material to the Internet, and you should depend on the community, not the law, to protect your work.

I wasn't talking about legal actions... even the legal word was omitted, because the material is copyrighted by konami.
The matter in question is something like personal actions (stop theming... or things like that).... that I will take when find that the rule was broken.... that's why I said that this copyright is in its own way.

So if the rule is broken.... no police, lawyer or something like that will follow the ones that do that...
I only have to think what is more sensate to do with... or just say goodbye and keep working for myself since then.

Actually, copyright law (at least in the United States, this may not apply to you Takuya) states that recreations are copyrighted, but only the code.

Ironically enough, this was proved by Konami vs Stern on the subject of Scramble. Stern took out copyrights on the graphics and sounds that Konami's code produced because Stern was producing the arcade machines (similar setup to today's Konami/Betson approach, except it doesn't suck anymore).

Basically, the ruling stated that one company can own the Graphics and Sounds that are created by the code, and not the code its self. This created a sticky situation for Konami for the past 20 years, as they wanted to include Scramble on their arcade recreation packs, but couldn't because they didn't own the graphics or the sounds that the game produced. The copyright was let go by Stern sometime recently and the game has since been reproduced.

So yes, Takuya, you do own partial Copyright on your recreations (according to the laws of a country you don't live in) however, because you don't *TECHNICALLY* own all the Intellectual property, it would be incredibly difficult to enforce your copyright.

Edit: I have had my work stolen on several occasions. It's not fun. Especially when people who don't speak English do it, and do it very very poorly. If you're going to steal my code at least fucking try and make an effort to hide it, but the code from New Novae was stolen directly from KatzeExtreme and edited very very slightly. There was a DDR Extreme theme from Japan that was a direct rip of my code. Several people have ripped my Ultramix code. Its not fun and its not cute. If anyone ever thinks about stealing code, just ask, most people are glad to give permission for it.
