Since I like SN2 theme so much than the other themes I don't see why his Hard Drive let's us down. Crashed? I think so. So R.I.P SN2 if it's not going to happen.

Takuya can certainly restart the project in future whenever he wishes, and if he aims for SM4.0 once it's stable and fully usable he can probably achieve much more of an acurate recreation.
For now though he deserves a break from SN2, and possibly even theming for a while. Of course if he wants to have a go at a different theme, such as EuroMIX2 which has been suggested by many, I won't object. | |

SN2 isn't terribly complex and shares a great number of similarities with MAX-era DDR interfaces, making it the sort of theme 3.9 handles quite well. You should be surprised if it supported everything (it doesn't), but half the things?
You really have to give some credit to the system we've been using for years here
(Before people take that the wrong way as they often overanalyze the things I say for some reason, I'm not saying "don't make it for SM4", I'm saying that he's greatly underestimating 3.9 here. Which I think any themer who's ever used 3.9 before would agree with, regardless of whether they theme for SM4 now.)

on the subject of Takuya:
Sorry you lost your data dude, I've been there and done that before, in fact, this very week I lost the KatzeUltramix Beta 3 I was working on for release (sorry, its gone) and I've lost various SM related things to repeated hard disk failures over the years. Ive learned now, if I finish something important I have a stack of CD-RW discs that I burn things to when I finish something important. If they're too expensive where you are, Ill ship you five. Lets try not to have this happen again.
on the subject of Hard Disk Data recovery:
For about 2 summers in a row, this has been my job. Takuya's data is Everything-But-Clean-Room gone for the most part. Lets be very very clear here, the chances that This data will come back without a clean room, a lot of very expensive equipment, and a pile of cash larger than you guys can erect, this data is 100% permanently erased.
on the subject of Stepmania 3.9:
Just because its powerful doesn't mean we should keep it around any longer. Its time to move on.

Now I have to learn some concepts about SM4 theming system to make the several things that cannot be implemented in SM3.9, so I decided that my first SM4 theme will be DDRSN2 :P
Okay, to make it faster I have all the lost material (graphics and sounds goes for my count)... So this time I'll make a SN2 folder with all the material.
