This is the best update ever done to my DDR Extreme theme... play and you will note the difference.

DDR EXTREME Rev 3.0 (Designed for StepMania 3.9)
Sep 07, 2006: Rev 3.0
* Gamplay Fixes:
- New Score numbers (riped from PS2 disk... they are the same used by the AC, but with better resolution).
- New Time numbers (from PS2 disk).
- New Battery life and numbers (taken from PS2 game).
- Relocated ready, here we go and game over images to be exactly arcade accure.
- How to play new design: new metrics and graphics; some bganimations were corrected too.
- Demonstration was arranged.
* Results Fixes:
- New Score and time numbers (taken from AJ's AC rips).
- New Judgment numbers (from AJ's AC rips).
- New metrics for some elemets such as scores, judgment numbers, survived numbers, dance points and some other I forgot.
* Select Music Fixes:
- New arranged score numbers (From AJ's AC rips).
- Song names are now exactly as the average of original sizes (width and height).
* Ranking Fixes:
- Relocation of some bganimations.
- Metrics fixes for bullets, scores and names.
*General Fixes:
- New AC matching colours for P1 and P2.

A few points about Megamix 2.0:

- There are no CD Titles in the Euro themes. Remove the metric in this and in Fever and Euromix 2 as well when you do them.

- There are no flags to signify that the song has a one foot beginner difficulty (I'm on about those symbols that appear in front of the song name and artist on the music wheel) so remove them. I have no idea how you can do it though.

- I like how your using a tag in the grade area on the music select screen until you get the select difficulty screen to work. Nice improvising! I assume you'll remove it once the select difficulty screen works and remove the difficulty change shortcut from the select music screen as well.

All in all good job Takuya!
Your progressing well with this theme and I can't wait to see Megamix 3.0 possibly with a working select difficulty screen?

Just a little question, Takuya...

The menu music is now the AC original? I've heard it many times, and it has a little explosion sound before it loops again, and in every DDREX theme I've seen it doesn't have it O.o

Dancing Stage WIP:
- CD tittles were removed.
- Beginner flags taken away (they bug me all the time on my themes).
- Screen Select difficulty: It can't be fixed, because this isn't a theming problem...... SM3.9 hasn't the alternatives to do Dancing Stage simulation, the lack of metrics made impossible to do a DS select music and select difficulty screen in the way you like guys...... for now keep waiting until SM4.0 could possibly support that (maybe never).

DDR EXTREME WIP:
- Fixed main song.
- Select style in/out for characters were canged back for better display.
- Moveon was located in its real place (lower than used before).
And more in progress...

EXTREME AC has the explosion at the end of the song, then it starts again.

In your extreme theme at the Select Syle screen, I think I may have spotted something wrong. Once the single-dancer texture loads up and you move to another style (versus) the textures just change, they don't do the animation again. I don't know if you know what I'm talking about of even if it can be changed, but I thought I should let you know.

You're right, the dancer and style info just change... but that feature isn't supported by StepMania.
I'll release a Rev 3.0 for extreme during the week... and DDRMAX2 for testing purposes.

I'm theming for StepMania 3.9, so if I say StepMania that means that I'm talking about 3.9.

I repeat: StepMania 4.0 seems to be good enought to start theming, but I don't like to remember those thimes when a theme should be re-themed in almost 60% of it... the experience with DDRMAX2 was enought to learn about not theming for every SM (beta, alpha, CVS) release or every 4 months. To start, at least I want an Alpha release.
