No bugs actually. Only the brightness of the Marvelous explosion in the metrics and the zoom of it in less than 100 combos yet. I'm still testing it today then I'll keep you informed of it if I have made it.

Exclamation DDR X Arrows Set

The programmed behaviors are:
SN arrows: start bright for all judgments when combo reach 100 and above.
X arrows: there's no combo bright at any number for all judgments, just escapes from the rule the Marvelous bright, which starts the bright from the 1st combo.

DDRX theme was developed to be used with my DDRX arrows set, so if you try to use any other arrow that could shows the bright effect at any spected number (usually 100), that is not going to happen.

If you try using the X arrows under a theme that have the 100 combo (or other number) bright explosion enabled, then when you reach that combo number you will experience the full bright of every judgment (not just marvelous, but the others too).

If you try to get the marvelous flash effect permanent and the others judgments with bright off, no matter the theme, then I have to inform you that what you're looking for is possible, but there's a cost of doing the arrows in that way:
- Now you receive 4 warnings of duplicated files. With the change you'll get a lot more around 16 (annoying).
- You will have to trade the OK bright explosion, because it's taken from Perfect (which will not longer bright anymore). Now when you finish the holds OK, you'll never see again the flash after completing it (boring ¬¬).

I hope this helps to save your time, because the only result you will get is an annoying arrow set without realism at all and the holds OK flash will be very noticeable issue that the set cares about.

PD: Things were done in the way I have done, because of a reason to do them in that way.

AJ or anyone that knows the answer.

I need to add more grades to the theme for SM3.9 and SM3.9+Rdx... there's a way to have more grades available for evaluation?

DDR X has 15 different Grades to score your performance:
01 - AAA Marvelous Full Combo
02 - AAA Perfect Full Combo
03 - AAA Full Combo
04 - AAA
05 - AA Full Combo
06 - AA
07 - A Full Combo
08 - A
09 - B Full Combo
10 - B
11 - C Full Combo
12 - C
13 - D Full Combo
14 - D
15 - E

All because there's no way to distinguish between a Full Combo or a broken combo grades. But the most complicated is the AAA, because there's no way to add "Marvelous Full Combo", because the criteria is the same as "Perfect Full Combo".

I need to know if it's possible and how.

But the SM default theme has an AAAA grade in the graphics folder, so I would assume it's possible. At least it does in 3.9+ Redux.

Actually in the theme there's an AAA -FC (AAA) and an AAA-PFC (AAAA), that's all I can do for now with the theme features available... but there's no way to have a AAA (broken combo) and AAA-MFC. That's for music wheel.

For Results and Total Results I can get on screen almost all kind of grades, with one exception "Marvelous Full Combo". There's a AAA (broken combo), AAA Full Combo (with greats) and AAA Perfect Full Combo (Marvelous and Perfect), but there's no way at all to have AAA Marvelous Full Combo without trading it with the AAA Perfect Full Combo. That's why I'm asking for an answer.

I want to have them all for the results screens.... for music wheel I wish it can probably be done, but I doubt it.

DDR X theme Grades || StepMania Grades
AAA == AAA
AAA Full Combo == AAA (Full Combo)
AAA Perfect Full Combo == AAAA
AAA Marvelous Full Combo == ????

I suggest you offer a setup that doesn't change the original SM grading

So:

AAAA=AAA MFC
AAA = AAA PFC

Bur according to your solution, getting an AAA with greats will be PFC instead of just an AAA - FC.

The point is:
AAA (broken combo) == AAA (SM)
AAA - FC (with Greats) == AAA - FC (SM)

About the follow grades, I have to choose one of them to be kept in the final X theme, to represent "AAAA".
AAA - PFC (Perfect and Marvelous) - AAAA?
AAA - MFC (Only Marvelous) - AAAA?

All of this just for the Results and Total Results screens.

PD: I forgot to mention that I have changed the StepMania.ini file to have the corresponding X's grading system.... that's why I have 3 AAA displays, using the old way, you only can get two. I'm developing this theme using my mod stepmania.ini file.

The grades keep the same, but the conditions to get them change, like full combo, certain score, etc.

however, I forgot to mention that using my suggestion would also use the default grade tier percentages, so it would be impossible to obtain AAA with greats.

So the Stepmania.ini has the "GradeTier02IsAllPerfects=" line (3.9+/Redux) for AAA. I'm guessing you can't add lines to the ini? If you can I would think to try "GradeTier01IsAllMarvelous=1" or something like it for AAA MFC.

But if you have to choose, just choose PFC to be the final grade. How often are people gonna get a Marvelous Full Combo anyway? On anything?

EDIT: Wait, the SuperNOVA 2 Grading system in 3.9+/Redux uses the new marvelous system, right?

In SM default, "GradeTier01(AAAA)" is always "Marvelous full combo". That is, you must have all Marvelouses to get an AAAA grade.

I think there's no need to put "GradeTier01IsAllMarvelous=1" to the ini.

Maybe try copying this "RequiresFC" line for each full combo grade? So if D FC is like Tier 13 out of the 15 then it could be "GradeTier13RequiresFC=". Or is 3.9+ Redux only coded to use that line for those two grade tiers?
