Just try to keep playing with the theme and catch any bug or mismatched representation.
Here's the log of the current progress: Dance Dance Revolution X Rev. 3.0 WIP Jan 21, 2009: Rev. 3.0 u4
- Updated the Select Course screen to match the Final Japanese AC.
- Screen stage and between course songs: Stains were relocated to match the Final Japanese AC. Jan 19, 2009: Rev. 3.0 u3
- Implemented the remaining behaviors in Select Mode screen, there's nothing left.
- There's a problem produced with the difficulty list cursor animation when you change fast between several songs. The cursor will keep moving until it gets the current highligted song difficulty.
- Credits scroll display fixed to be correctly shown in both StepMania 3.9 builds using different metric.ini files.
- Added new instructions for toasty and complemented the installation of Redux.
- Finalized zoom animation over rings and lines for results and total results, when you get a full combo.
- Added Green and White rings for both kind of results screens. Jan 07, 2009: Rev. 3.0 u2
- Added Total Results correct animations for 3 stages + extra + encore. Rest to add the rest of the combinations.
- Removed Roulette from the wheel.
- Changed the music used in the wheel when no song is foccused, now it plays the menu music.
- The full combo ring animation rotation was incorrect in previous versions (Rev 1.0 and 2.0), now it was fixed.
- Added preliminary zoom animation to rings and lines for results, when you get a full combo. Dec 27, 2008: Rev. 3.0 u1
- Select Mode: Fixed battle mode disabled command. Now it shows darken than the other modes when it's disabled.
- Battle Mode difficulty list P2 Cursor behavior corrected.
Here's some snapshots of the DDR X theme Rev 3.0 u4:

Maybe there's a way to show the full combo without making them into grades.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | My theme manages the full combo displays without modifying the grade scale, but the thing that matters is the AAA problem, because stepmania uses 3 grades (apparently, not real) that should be represented as 4.

GRADES AND "AWARDS" ARE SEPARATE THINGS.
As a hint, look at the first dance game that did it: In The Groove.
The first ITG AC is based in SM 3.9, so there's no excuse.
Aaand... considering that now scores in DDR are literally calculated by percentage, it's the same as in ITG.
This way, you can have:
100% = "Fantastic" Full Combo => AAA = Marvelous Full Combo
99% = "Excellent" Full Combo => AAA = Perfect Full Combo
99% = Great Full Combo => AAA = Great Full Combo
EDIT: I checked the Cyberia Style 5 folders, and... yeah, it's the same as in ITG: Graphics\ScreenEvaluation PerDifficultyAward FullCombo<grade>

Marketplace Rating: 0 | cusicat, it's 100% possible.. just rip the credits video, the music scroll picture and their respective music from the AC disk. Then send them to me and I'll be glad to add those screens to my theme to have a real AC feeling. Otherwise is impossible.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | As I told Takuya yesterday, it's pretty simple. He just has to keep the usual Stepmania grading, just changing the percentages where each letter is obtained (and changing AAAA to just AAA).
Since the "Full Combo" or "Full <asdf> Combo" is just a "badge", it doesn't have to be considered in the grade.
To be more clear, imagine this picture. From DDRSN onwards, you can get the same score (therefore, the same letter) with different performance combinations.
So, you can get an AAA with 1 great and many marvelouses ("Full Combo") or without any great but many perfects ("Full Perfect Combo")

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Takuya, alright I've already compared to the score fonts in the X and SN1 and SN2. You were right in telling me of it. But for the purpose of making it closer to the X AC, maybe I suggest that we should use the SN1 fonts for the score anyways. I'll wait for more pictures to contrast them again. It was only the 16:9 aspect that Konami used for the screen in DDRX.
EDIT: About the concern in the grading system, I'm thinking of another way to implement them in another way. I'll post them here if I have already corrected it...
