The problem: font edition is a very hard matter to do.
The solution: Using ripped font stuff from DDR X disk, replacing the current font graphics (it needs some adjustment in the font metrics too).

When I said I added the ^2 character, it went into GIMP, copied the number 2 in the image, then resized it and put it in the right place in the image, and that alone was hard. Hi takuya lovin the new update
anyways if someone could help me. I just upgraded to 3.9+ and when I try to play, sm crashes and tells me:
The NoteSkin element 'Left tap note 4th' could not be found in 'NoteSkins/dance/default_x/', 'NoteSkins/dance/default/', or 'NoteSkins/common/default/'.

A problem about your noteskins:
The following files are missing in all of your noteskins folders
Right Roll Body Active.sprite
Right Roll Body Inactive.sprite
Right Roll BottomCap Active.sprite
Right Roll BottomCap Inactive.sprite
That makes the right Roll arrows revert to the default graphics.

Explorer09, you have to download the latest noteskin available (go to 1st page).
About the left tap note 4th problem, try updating your SM3.9+ redux, and then reinstall the noteskin.

If the installation of the noteskins was successful, then you must have all matching graphics with it (no different graphics should appear for rolls, but the ones I have must).
That release of the noteskin overrides completelly the common/default folder and graphics. I recommend to delete the common/default folder inside noteskins directory and then install it, or replace all the graphics that you'll be prompted to.
I guess that you don't replace or remove that root directory, but it's needed to override the default noteskin.

Thanks neodude, but ripping the announcer sounds is a very easy task for me. When I was asking for help, I was asking about the complete announcer organization. I mean: write a post listing the announcer directories and the name of the sounds that should be included inside each of them.... that will help to finish the announcer in a very short period of time and you'll save me a lot of work (seriously).
my58vw go back in the thread and find the solution of what are you asking about. It was asked one million times.
