I noticed that when you unlock song on DDR X CS, it shows "new!!" flashing in rainbow colors on top of the song name. Will you be adding that too.

EDIT: is it possible, on EXTRA STAGE, to add mods before playing it like DDR X.

the theme is not the one that makes that possible, but I dont know if stepmania's code have the ability to do that

The full credits display are already included for Rev 4.0 like I did for DDR Extreme. More speed mods, wave and brake will be included to match the actual AC mods.

This is not a theme feature. You should ask to the people that is specialized in that area (which I don't know how to name it).

If you like something like that You should edit the file extra.crs to have custom mods and songs, but that's the static way.

> Add description for every options that every player goes theough, just like in the arcade.

> Add speeds "C200", "C400", etc. I do not know if there is "x0" (All arrows are in the stepping zone. Cannot determine which comes after the other.).
> Add "Mines" option with choices of "Off" and "On".
> Add "Planted" and "Twisted" in option "Freeze arrow", aside from "On" and "Off".
> Add "Big" and "Echo" in option "Cut", aside from "Off", "On1", and "On2".
> Add "Hide background" options with choices of "Off" and "On", like the one in "In the groove 2" theme pack.
> Add "Hide judgment and combos" option with choices of "On" and "Off".
> Add "Split", "Alternate", and "Cross" in option "Scrolling".

If exists on the AC and you give me the modifier name command, there's no problem to add it.

I'll add this feature for the next release, but only can be added general descriptions for each category and not for every particular option.

There are tutorials about how to mod that theme features, the other way is to search it in the entire thread. That was asked before several times. This time I cannot give you a page, because I haven't all the day to search into this long thread.

It's possible (just look DDR Extreme), but I haven't the icons and with the known ripping methods they cannot be dumped.

Seems that there's no more new stuff to be added to the X theme and the WIP list will be completely solved during the next iteration of the theme. I hope to get all the bugs finally fixed and all the requirements too.

Then I'll use X as base theme for DDR SuperNOVA and DDR SuperNOVA2. The SuperNOVA beta 3 will be deprecated and all the work will start from zero using the X structure, that's very solid compared with the buggy SN beta 3. The core of the theme is the same, but the metrics and animations will differ a lot from one theme to other, so I hope to get the three new generation themes out during this year (all of them as final versions).

That makes sense considering the X base theme is stable and that way you don't have to start from scratch.

Woah, that's a great idea. It can be possible enough to have them released in one but using the X theme as the base theme for SN1 and SN2 can be quite complicating for me.
