About DDRX Rev 4.0 testing... if there's no more issues (bugs) associated to this theme, then I will start the development of its final release (Rev 5.0) and the very first version of DDRSN2. I'll wait a couple of weeks or month for your feedback and then I will let you know my TO DO list for X.

I hope you enjoy this theme and test it in most of all the possible conditions of use as possible.... only with a bug clean theme I can assure to bring you a perfect SN and SN2 experience in a shorter time.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for the start up of the SN2 theme

So far through the time using Rev 4.0, I only found two things.
First the starting video is incompatible with the graphic resolution lower than 1024 by giving a weird reflection like glitch. Though I'm not sure if this is with all versions.
Second when in the select mode screen, the option blinks twice when switching modes (in versus). This I seen in the last Rev as well.
That's basically all I found so far. Well I have technical issues with the glow effect, but that's just my stupid video card's fault

You're right about the video glitch, because its native resolution is small: 320x240.... you must count this on my favor and blame Konami.

The second is the most stupid thing ever... the Versus bug for ScreenSelectMaster.... every single command for random layers were repeated twice!!.... never solved.... what a shame!!!!.... blame StepMania.

Both cannot be solved by me.

Uh, Takuya? Are you sure? I'm sure it was much bigger than that when I ripped it (if I remember well, they were 512x384)

As I said, showing the song artist during gameplay in SM 3.9 isn't possible. This includes derivatives of it such as 3.9+ Redux.
It is possible from 3.95 onwards [GAMESTATE:GetCurrentSong():GetDisplayArtist() ]

As for your second question, you should ask about it in the 3.9+ Redux thread in Stepmania.com.

-updated lyrics display
-updated songtitle display in screenmusic select & screengameplay
to match the arcade version
-added mode switcher
-system message layer code is enabled
-updated explanation display messages in screenplayeroption, screensongoption,
screenmenuoption etc.

** Don't matter how many people complains about the combo layer... I won't going to change it unless you can prove that the default AC settings are opposed to what I have done.

** This game doesn't display lyrics, but the addition of new and improved display metrics could help.

to match the arcade version"
** There's no way you can get a better effect than mine with the used font, because I use the exact height and width used in tittle's text.
