Takuya, by developing a MAX2 theme for SM4 will this allow you to add or improve anything that was previously impossible in SM3, or is this simply an update to allow SM4 users to still play your older themes?

That's not an OpenITG feature. It's probably just a video of the dancing characters in the background, as indicated by the constant speed that they move at. | |

i wanted my stepmania to look like the arcade, i want the sn2, x dancers, here is a video showing what i did...the only thing right now that i need is the announcer, i need to know how takuya gets the audio for the announcers, i want to finish it. | |

its very simple, this is what i did....
bought a tv tuner for my computer, hooked up my ps2 to my computer, i did a song edit for ddrx ps2 with no arrows (sunkiss drop, 1:43) went to game mode, select the song with no step zone and start recording when the video starts and their you have dancers in background, makes it look real. i saw that video of pluto and the dancing background are like supernova, anyone know where i can download them? | |

There you go. It has some other bg videos there too. Umm.. But I noticed you did not snip off the top and bottom parts of your capture. It kind of looks weird looking at another song name in the background. I talked to a person who has made these too and he said it can be cut off with a program called "iMovie HD" he also said "Final Cut works too" Also the BGVs for some song are on Zenius- too you know like Max 300 and Be Lovin'
You know what someone should do? They should do the same thing you did, but have the BG video on a song like bag from SN2 US CS (or some very slow song that has no BPM changes or stops). Then have set each simfile to speed up the video to its BPM, thus making it run at the songs BPM.
So if it was a song like Freeway Shuffle, the simfile would speed up the bag BGV by roughly 2.23 times
I would try this out, but I don't have a good video card to record good quality videos.
