Depends on the model. Some few netbooks come with Nvidia graphics chips.

Well to fix this, you can try eliminating what's causing it. For me, I had that same problem on my laptop, so all I did was got rid of the glow effect commands in the metrics that had it. I only did it for the main grades but it did make a difference.

Is it the "GradeP1Oncommand" under "ScreenEvalutionSummary"?

Well basically what I did was remove any command in ScreenEvaluationStage background's BGAnimations that had the word glow in it. That and I think I also removed anything that said brighten. There are some of these commands in ScreenEvaluationSummary, but I've just been too lazy to change them.

Like what Ashura96 said, how does that have to do with the theme? But if you most certainly know, I'm connecting wirelessly to high speed internet.

Also, just randomly saying something, I think it is possible to have a Stepmania 3.9 theme in widescreen. This is how I look at it, scrunch the wide screen textures to a 4:3 ratio and then have the computer stretch them out again to 16:9/10. Kind of like how IIDX AC operates. Thing is I don't think it's possible to use that method for the noteskins. Though I'm not sure so correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think that you can without modifying the metrics. You can't just turn them on, I know that.

It's not possible in SM 3.9.

and it was there since.... I don't know.... THE BEGINNING !!!!!!!

the problem is, I don't know where...... I look the screenselectmusic and I didn't see anything :S

does someone know where in the metrics of the theme is the line to change this, or in theme itself?

Subtitles. You know, like Flow (true style). This theme doesn't show them normally. For example, Flow (true style) and Flow both appear only as Flow.

You are going to have to change every SM file so the entire song name is in the #TITLE line.

In case you haven't noticed, Since SuperNOVA all songs with subtitles display them on the songwheel on the same line as the song name itself.

I'm pretty sure that simfile only has a .dwi and not an .sm.
Anyway, all you have to do is to go to Edit mode, then edit the title and subtitles, then save.
