So aside from all the silly talk about the cube, Takuya, are the arrows still being worked on, or are they considered done?

Totally my favorite noteskin out of the whole lot available... not overly flashy, but look great.

Good news K... the noteskins are in the update phase... DDRMAX2 noteskin is completed. Now I'm working on 3rd and 5th ones...

Oh yes I forgot about the arrow noteskins. I can safely say I used Takuya's extreme noteskin all the time. It's what I consider the best and most flexible. The 5th and 3rd often look good too having that little cut at the back of the arrows and being very nostalgic, though often I could never tell the difference between the two. What were the differences between the 3rd and 5th mix arrows anyway?

And can we please enforce some kind of rule where people must stop constantly bugging poor Takuya for release dates, or anyone else for that matter? It's getting a bit ridiculous now.

5th has a pretty cool rainbow effect after 100 combo.

Actually, I'd be interested in seeing a modified version of EX arrows that have the same thing. EX5th?

Could be a nice additon to the package: EX5th3rd (Extreme/solo arrows with 5th explosions and note arrows with 3rd mix blend)... :P

k, if you pull the Down Tap Explosion Bright 4x4.png file from the 5th mix noteskins, along with the (direction) Tap Explosion.redir files, and add those into any other noteskin (while making sure to delete the Tap Explosion Bright file that originally came in the second noteskin), you can get that effect on any noteskin.

I did that, and now the default StepMania noteskin has that sweet rainbow effect.

Thanks to Takuya for figuring that out. I never thought that the Explosion Bright file could have multiple frames like this.

Finally Select Difficulty cursors are fully arcade animated. Select Options font is the real one right now (I'm perfecting its metrics). Select Music is almost completed, but there are some little stuff that cannot be done with regular metrics, so I'm searching an alternative way to make them possible.

Takuya I wouldn't worry, people understand that Stepmania can't do everything the arcade can and therefore shouldn't expect arcade accuracy anyway. You strive for the best you can do with what you've got which is completely acceptable and admirable.

Trust me your doing a brilliant job.
