DDR EXTREME Rev 8.0 and Rev 8.0b (Designed for StepMania 3.9 and Beware's Build) Ago 05, 2007: Rev 8.0
This release has two available versions, one for Stepmania standard and the other for Beware's Stepmania Build.
The list of changes is too long to write here detailed, but here's the most important part:
- Screen select music was redone from existing metrics taking shared DDR arcade behaviour from DDRMAX2.
- Beware's Build: Created some specific behaviours for items in select music.
- All attrackt mode was rewritten to match arcade behaviour.
- Beware's build display only the arcade ranking screens. Created ranking oni.
- Screen player options was sightly updated for both versions.
- Results (normal, nonstop, oni, summary) were rewritten using DDRMAX2 arcade and DDREXTREME CS standards.
- Gameplay (Beware's Build)... restored the old aspect 8 pixels up.
- Gameplay had some metric/animation changes...
- Added a secret item... HINT: To find it, just end the game reaching 'One More Extra Stage' (Cleared or Failed).
Takuya20: PS2 Image extraction (via snapshots and from disk), sound/music extraction/edition, animation, art and metrics work, fonts.
