SBS files haven't been decrypted yet, who knows who will end up doing that. AFAIK they're a form of MJPEG movies, just scrambled somewhat.

I'm still testing DDRMAX2 Rev 3.0 for SM 3.9 before its release... and specting the next release of MAME wich will include DDR EXTREME, because of that I won't going to release DDR EXTREME Rev 8.0... so wait until EX 9.0 will be released.... that release will include arcade accure metrics and animations (the same done with MAX2).
More news and releases soon...
PD: Still working on DDRMAX2 for SM 4.0... :P

And finally..... the release :P StepMania's DDRMAX2 skin Rev 3.0 (Designed for StepMania 3.9)
This will be the first arcade real accure theme ever developed for StepMania. Sep 02, 2007: Rev 3.0 Release
Remaked almost all the theme using DDRMAX2 arcade metrics and behaviours taken from MAME.
This release will be one of the last for StepMania 3.9.
Deprecated Kazz DDRMAX2 images... all were replaced by mine. DDRMAX2 ANNOUNCER ADDED !!
Takuya20: Arcade/PS2 Image rip, animation, art and metrics work.

the Marvelous Shift Up seems weird as well (but that's to be expected, I guess), but otherwise, this is very much excellent. The TextBanners on the MusicWheel look like the closest anyone's ever gotten to the CARD display.

Will you be working DDR SN2 theme when the game comes to the consoles?
Just wondering, If you do... then I will skip DDR SN1 theme since DDR SN2 theme looks way better. 
By the way, how do I make the music will show up different colors? I tried to do it but it doesnt show any colors but the same white color.

About SN2 theme... I hope to do more work in SN1 before starting a SN2 theme, because that one is based on the first of the series... but that development should be done for 4.0. not 3.9.
For colours: Look some pages back in the thread... that was asked before.
