But then I'd say how the two versions compare AJ. Any chance we can see a screen shot of both to see if there is any noticeable difference? I'd only push for the higher resolution if the lower one looks noticeably worse. If not I'm fine with either. | |

Hmm, if you do it Aj's suggested way, people that DO want 640x480 end up downloading both the 320x240 video and the 640x480--
So I'd say...
Either host:
1) the two options as separate complete theme downloads (vid included),
or
2) have the theme lacking the video, then having the two choices for which video is desired for download.
Option two would have the least bandwidth consumption of the two options I think!

I definietly think the best option is make two packs: one with the video at 320x240 and another one with the video at 640x480, so most of the people who already know their computer limitations would download the correct one.
I'm also agree with shakesoda's comment, nooby users wouldn't know how to place the video and probably would complain the theme is not working good. | |

Okay... the theme will have two different flavours:
- The Premium Build: performing the higher res (640x480)... arround 101 MB
- The Basic Build: performing the lower res (320x240)... arround 78 MB
I hope this calm down your specs about its release.
But going ahead of the stupid question I'm see coming:
101-78 = 23 MB (the real theme size)
23 MB is still big for a theme... that's graphics fault, because I'm using 32 bit images instead of the usual 8 bit used before. That's because some bitmaps of the game were 32 bit and other 8 bit and I have no time to find out the depth of certain graphic so I decided to use the same depth for all of them.
THE MIRROR WAS UPDATED :P

THE MIRROR WAS UPDATED :P | nice nice. i see screenshots of the SN2 theme alot and it looks VERY similar to the PS2/AC version. plus...its good about 32-bit instead of 8-bit because the theme would look alot more crispy but i dont know if my CPU can handle it when i set up my SM to hi-res....since i always do. | |

So isn't the 23 MB the size difference between the two vid resolutions, and not the real theme size? If this is the case, the real theme size would be more like 50 MB.
Not that it matters, I'm sure it's worth it anyway, haha.
