Is there a way to remove the preview music?

There are hardly any connections to the metric in the entire 3.9 system. Metric.ini has like 'samplemusicmode' for ezstep, and 'previewmusicdelay' for screenselectmusic. the ezstep comment mentions about modes 1,2,3, and 4, 4 being the one I want because if it does what it says, it will continue to play the static menu music instead of playing the currently selected song preview music.

I've managed to get the preview music to not play at all by making the delay 99999, so either I want a way to be able to play a menu music over the silence or just not have the preview music start or try to start at all.

you can try just removing the ogg file.

Which will make the songs unplayable, since the preview music comes from the songs music file.
