So I have some spare time coming up, and I think I'm going to work on my parody project.. Sega Xenesis. Right now, all I have done is ScreenSelectMusic... but it looks alright... sort of...

any thoughts? comments? this thing sucks so much ass that I should go back to animemix + ? suggestions, etc? Eager to hear some feedback...

p.s. - scripting sucks.

You beat me. Im in the middle to concept designing one like NX. Looks great though. I <3 the BG videos.

Hmm, no song wheel makes it a bit harder to navigate, and the font is still stock...

I love the concept very much.

Clean it up a little and maybe add a few unique theme quirks and this could be a winner.

Thats fine, take your time. Takuya will tell you how it takes a long time to make great themes.
I'm liking some of the unique features this theme has. I assume it's playing the bg vids on the song select screen in that clip?

cool idea with playing the vids in the song select, but i also agree that no song wheel makes hard to navigate. i think a cool idea maybe would be to like a konamix song list at the left maybe

display the banners down the left side and have them sick out when selected.

Exactly how many stars do you plan on putting up to? 15? Looks like it's coming along nicely. I'll keep my eye on this.

3rd mix style where it scrolls in a circle! If you can pull off something like that or similar so that it has like this

............|name|
|name|.............|name|

Name is the song name and it scrolls replacing the song in the top with the one on the right or the left and so on...if that makes sense.

Edit: spaces didnt work so i had to use periods

So thats what Konamix looks like? Obviously that must be what Party Edition was developed from for here in Europe.

Adapting this theme to look like a modified version of that would be cool. I still like the idea of the banners being visible, but it would be nice to have a box displaying the videos. Would also help in working out which songs actually have videos which is a very useful feature to me.
