I have a question. If my entry was from, let's say, DDR B1, and only two other people besides me entered solo steps for that bracket, would we all automatically pass, or would only one (the top 1/3rd) pass?

In other words, is the top 1/3rd selected out of all the entrants that made it to the challenge round, or only the entrants that actually participate?

The top 1/3 of all the files eligable for the challenge round move on.

So that means if two people enter, they (assuming their steps don't blow) automatically move on due to being in the top 1/3 and the remaining songs will be moved up based on their previous score.

Basically whoever we can get out of who's left, but it's going to be a cross-section of all three division's judges hopefully.
