Thanks. One more question: I'm not quite sure how to name my file. Is it name of song first then "DDR OSC 5 - Solo?" Or is it different?

Eggman: and this is why I remember to ask BlueSS before using the Upload plugin in the future.

Ha, it works for me now. File uploaded. I called it a 10 because that's usually what I'd call a regular keyboard file of that level. Since I suck at Solo though, it's more like a 30 haha.

I'll have to say this about the challenge round of OSC5; It's going to not only push my abilities as a simfiler, but also my patience for learning new code. ;_;

Should be... interesting to see how this all turns out, since I doubt many of us know what to do with 6 panels.

I played a lot of keyboard solo and a little bit of pad solo (CSFIL IS SO FUN) in the last few weeks to compensate for not knowing anything beforehand. It's pretty fun actually.

And I'm not surprised no one has taken Breathe yet. : D

A couple of questions:

1) When you upload the .zip folder, do you need the original readme?

2) Besides listing all the changes you made, does the new readme require anything else at a bare minimum (i.e., solo stepchart by ___, where to contact ___)?

Also, can I have an example of what the .zip folder should be named? The example given in the rules ("DDR OSC 5 - Solo") wasn't enough to give me a clear understanding of what I should name it. I remember naming my .zip for my Samba Brazil simfile "[DDR] - Samba Brazil", which is really quite different from "DDR OSC 5 - DDR".

Bizarrely, I made Light-Heavy solo charts for my TM5 entry Punk, but I don't think more than 2 or 3 people even noticed so I'm not really sure about the quality of those steps... ^^

In OSC3 I made two solo charts.

yes, I was trying to get as many extra points as possible. Hey, it was only my second contest!

Juub: that's one reason we dropped Extras scores after OSC3, ironically. Too many people just assing out extra charts.

Anyhow, another question or two answered, and I see we've got a couple of them in... 6 more days, everyone, don't be afraid to experiment.
