Hold on a second, in the .zip I have for my entry, the foldering just goes Song Name -> [simfile data]. This is appropriate format, right? I'm just making sure, as you said you're only giving everyone 1 chance to upload their file, and if it's not correct the first time, that means they'll automatically be discontinued from the competition.

-When is the deadline for uploading?
-And where is the uploader?
-Also, Do I have to make only one chart? a 9-footer heavy or a 10-footer challenge (No Standard, no light), is that correct? But do they need to be this hard, even my song is for DDR?

1. The deadline is August 28th.
2. The link for the uploader is at the bottom of the first post of the Challenge Round Reservations thread.
3. Actually, Heavy stepcharts are rated up to 9 feet, not necessarily exactly 9 feet, meaning you can have, for example, a 7 foot solo stepchart under the Heavy difficulty. Challenge stepcharts are 10 feet and higher.

Always need to help someone whose Challenge Round entry is in fact my original DDR entry.

I also don't understand this completely. If you submit in this format, how you'll know the submission is for DDR, ITG or Keyboard?

We'll look at the reservation thread and by the author of the new one when you submit.

Don't worry about the format too much, half the people forget or totally screw it up normally anyways.
Make it understandable, easy and [Solo] - Songname.zip and we won't dock any points. ;-)

hey all this is doctor mango again and i guess i don't have to do the challenge round.

But, I have decided to create for all intensive purposes a file that will let me help get into the spirit of things a little bit, and you can get it at http://doctormango.googlepages.com/INSPIRATION.sm which is hosted on my googlepages thing!

Now what this is, is solo steps i have create for inspiriation, and as you might expect they're not very good because well none of us very much experience with solo steps, and oh yeah, there are double steps there if you have a setup that you can play those with!!

now i hope you like this and please don't use this to judge my file in the next round because that's not right guys, be fair!!!

Yay, Hamm is using my file for his ITG solo entry! And it's good that your making my SMiLE.dk song a 9, not some excessively hard 12 for a happy song like Together.

Yeah, I seriously hate it when people make songs harder than they warrant. And hey, I'm actually finding that solo is more fun than 4-panel

In other news, DDR Solo isn't as hard to steps as I thought it was going to be. I'm even doing something with Jump that's a little weird. It will either be loved or hated. Probably hated.
