Why? This way, you automatically have a strong R21 pack - and after all, these things are meant to be songs to be played on pad, right?
As many will remember, the footage on my Stepmania machine was very popular, and, if the entire competition were R21 compatible, any number of people would be able to share the workload of playing through various songs/posting movies. At the very least, it would give a lot more people opportunity to play these great files on pad. I very strongly encourage this, and I hope my opinion on this one is heard!
PS I'm not sure if all topics not visible now were deleted, but if they aren't GONE FOREVER, I'd like to request that my video thread be...stuck somewhere else at the *very least* because I'm sure a lot of people would like to still have access to those. (They are still on my google video account, but the topic I had had muuuuch nicer layout)

However, it may not be completely necessary, considering there are ways of playing SM on a dance mat at home. In addition, the impact of certain background videos on a simfile's fun factor while playing on foot can't be implemented using an ITG 2 machine, so not every entry will shows its full traits. Not too big of a deal, though. Maybe the entries can be forced to have ogg format to save people from the trouble of converting mp3's into ogg's so to be used on R21 ITG 2.
And about your videos thread, it's not completely gone forever; it's just no longer visible in the OSC forums (theads that haven't had any posts in a while always end up doing this). If you want to bring it back, try digging through the list of all posts you made, visible in your profile, and find a post which was in the missing thread. It will still be there, so you can completely revive it by making a new post and bump it to the top of the regular threads.

The pack would include all the entered files without their art and extras, converted to ogg and within the time limit. (or tricked into the time limit)
I personally would be able to download the pack and play every chart in a week's time.
