Ah, there we go. I'd thought the address where the judges downloaded the files got discovered or something for a second...

You see, now they release the files but they don't tell you the URL. It's more of a challenge to work it out yourself.

The graphics weren't good, on sync and everything though. You should have at least put a samplestart.

TOTAL: 4.5/10
First - it Inukami, not Inukama.
Second - samplestart is specialy in this place. In lyrics there is 'demo' so I set it to start with this ... without the 'D' :>

I didn't take points off for the samplestart anywya, it was just a note. It sounds kind of weird.

Ah, and one more thing.

Quote:
DM Ashura - 7

Steps: 2/6
They're extremely double steppy, and that sixteenth note orgy was really weird, and included double steps.

Everything Else: 2/4
I don't like the graphics. Why don't the graphics match the text on the song wheel? I don't think this was really changed at all for OSC, either...

TOTAL: 4/10
It WAS changed. Because formally it was collaboration between me and Kreton.

I just have to say, it really isn't fair to rate things only off of the Heavy steps. A lot of people, like myself, put effort into their Standard/Light steps to be the fun and laid-back steps to the Heavy's rather difficultness. It would be like me having judged the KB competition based off of only the Challenge steps for songs.

I also have to say, some people need to learn that DDR doesn't use that many jumps really. Nor do 9's have max combos approaching 600.

I agree that it's not really the best to only rate heavy, but with only 6 points what am I supposed to do? 2 points isn't really enough to rate a stepchart...

You can't honestly expect the public to review multiple charts per entry... that's what the judges are for!

Not to mention there would be far less turnout in the PR section.

Anyway, I'd love to comment on the files, but you'll have to wait until the judge's scores are released to see 'em.

use tenths of a point, it's the same thing as getting a base of 60 points to work from.

Well, I WOULD expect them to judge based on Standard/Heavy as those are equally important. I plan on doing public reviews and splitting it into 3 and 3.

Edit: Also, yes, just make it out of 60 and then make it to a decimal. It's the same thing and lets you be more exact.

Judging by the public review, my file is unfinished.

Once the download finishes, I'll see what's up. But I want an explanation. I mean, I was hoping for my only criticism to be the horrible graphics.
