My favourites-
Fuku Wa Uchi
Gasolina
Inspiration
Wowowee
Runner-ups- (all 8.5 lol)
Sakura Kaduki
Samba Brazil
Together
Dancin' in My Dreams
Bad-
Tunak Tunak Tun (and I LOVE Daler)
Sphere (I think I may have actually rated it too highly...)
The good definitely outweighs the bad here!
Gasolina was my personal #1 favourite, I think that or Inspiration will win.

WOWOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Sorry - you did ask for first impressions though! Generally, I enjoyed this bracket more than B1, but can't comment specifically on things until I know whether I can get my judging completed on time...

I have maybe five or six released files but have like... thirty on my computer. And that's not counting ITG and DDR edits.

Total Tokens: 8,306.58 Donate Tokens | There weren't really any truly bad simfiles in Bracket 2 at all, although some were pretty mediocre such as Pump Up The Jam and Bouncin!. I was also annoyed by how many stepcharts were plagued by lots of step jumps that required you to move your feet too fast (i.e., 4-2-86). What an unnecessary hastle.
Based on what I've seen, I think it's pretty safe to say that my simfile should at least make the Challenge round, as I personally believe it stacks up to the competition way better than my ITG entry did. I'm not trying to be cocky, but it's just that I'm honestly very proud of my work.
There were still songs I liked even more than my own. PARANOiA Sky was easily my favorite simfile in the whole group. It didn't really sound like PARANOiA, but the song was amazing, the steps were great, and the video was fantastic. I'll be playing it numerous times in the future, that's for sure.

Also, doubles charts! Not a lot, but two of them were quite good.
Dancin' In My Dreams- remarkable because it's actually more professional than single heavy. A lot of fun.
Fuku Wa Uchi- Really good, but still pretty easy for a 9. I loved it regardless.
Sphere- Better than single but not by much. Didn't like the doublestepping but I liked the tricks you were going for.

Total Tokens: 2,033,660.04 Donate Tokens | Yah, Samba Brazil was good. I loved your graphics! They were M-Azing! I wasn't expecting such hard heavy and challenge steps though. Usually, Captain Jack songs in DDR have easier charts than this (except for Captain Jack (Grandale Mix) of course...). I didn't think you should have made a challenge 10, but that might just be me.
I really liked Gasolina, Inspiration, Paranoi Sky, and Wowowee. I've only played 10 of the heavy charts as of now, but those were my favorites of the few I played. I'm still doing my review for B1, so I don't really want to play that many charts before I finish my review.
Yay, my Together simfile is in the runner-ups section!

And it's by someone who's 13? Who made excellent heavy steps but doesn't even play on heavy? Who thinks Naoki made the Starsky & Hutch theme? The readme feels excessively (even purposefully) n00bish and cheerful to me and the file is just too good, so I'm suspicious.
I dunno, maybe I just spend too much time at DDRExtreme.co.uk and their anonymous competitions where half the entries are like this :P

On second thought though, the readme IS pretty comical... probably even too much. I wonder who this could be...
