Considering Tournamix is dead and buried, I think my triple-entry in Tournamix 5 can be revealed now. Just to clear things up, I only got called on as a judge at the last moment, and never intended to wind up judging one of my own songs. Unless you're referring to the double entry I did have in Tournamix 4, but nobody's caught that yet.

Me either, unless it was explicitly allowed (that being DDRExtreme.co.uk's contests, and Tournamix 5 Add-on).

But yeah, Bracket 2. It was fun. Inspiration for the win, even though the difficulty was overrated (and you know it's bad when I'm the one who's saying a foot rating is overrated). I think it was just a mistake, though, since the readme says it's an 8.
There's this one part at the beginning of the chorus (measures 33-34) that's simply delectable in how the pattern gets turned around.

But, I assume the former, as opposed the latter. I can't find anything that can link Inspiration to any other file. It could have also been a situation where it *might* have been someone's second entry, but they reconsidered or didn't get the other entry completed.

Pennames can be allowed, and have been in OSC before; AS LONG AS they do not enter two songs.

Chiming in late, but I just finished playing through the bracket. I agree with everyone who says it's not as good as the first bracket (my file included

). It's like, bracket 1 had two types of files: really freaking amazing, or totally awful and hatred-inducing. Bracket 2 also has two types of files: enjoyable files with either lots of minor flaws or awful music; and stepfiles that are unmemorable, generic, lackluster, etc. The only thing hate-inducing about B2 is Tunak Tunak Tun.

In my opinion, anyway. Reviews to come later.

What? I swear I heard at least three people saying the first bracket was better. And that seemed to be the prevailing feeling. What OSC have I been judging all this time?

The wrong one, because the predominant opinion is that Bracket 2 is way better.

And honestly I don't know how you could think otherwise. The worst I could say for 2 is that its bad songs are worse than 1's, but... the average bracket 2 song is better than some of the best ones in bracket 1, so that doesn't really make a difference (lol pun) to me.

I am apparently a retard then.

I still think Bracket 1 was better, though I've marked a lot more B2 files as keepers in than I did for my first time through B1. At least, B1 had more that really stuck in my mind, one way or another, while most of B2 is just kinda eh. But that's just me.

Bracket 2 was better to me, even though it had fewer standouts. I didn't rate anything under 4 out of 10, while I gave 3/10 to 3 of the entries from the first Bracket, while Let Me Stay got 3.5 from me.

Anyway, my predicted top 5 by public review and judging is:

1. Fuku Wa Uchi
2. Inspiration
3. Wowowee
4. Gasolina (Delacation Remix)
5. Samba Brazil (just basing it off of the feedback it's gotten so far; it's my entry)
