Also, though I will not try to judge this (as stated in the rules), I will nonetheless ask: What is foldering? I've not heard this phrase before.

Total Tokens: 73,737.12 Donate Tokens | 1) The incorrect difficulty penalty should only be applied to significant errors (a 10 when it feels like a high 11 or low 12, not a 10 when it's a decent 9), and only applies to the standard charts and Challenge (since Beginner is notoriously hard to pin the difficulty on, let alone keyboard charts or other sets entirely like Ichirin no Hana's Pump sets. Speaking of, anyone who wants to rate those, lemme know ._.)
2) Don't bother with Foldering if you're Public Reviewing; that's for people who didn't put the ZIP in properly, so only the Judges can judge that one for obvious reasons.

One of the songs (I'm sure you know which) has a 'Beginner' chart that's rated as a 1, but plays like a 4 or 5 foot light chart. But I guess charts like this one are the reason that the Beginner score itself can be a penalty.
A new question: What is the due date for the public reviews?

Total Tokens: 7,739.78 Donate Tokens | Honestly, I believe the big problem with it taking days just to see a single public review (at least TakeWalker finally posted his) is that those who write them are forced to cover far too much. I enjoyed the fact that OSC 5 only required going over the Heavy stepchart as opposed to the Light and Standard ones in addition (that would be a complete drag for most people to rate), but here, public reviewers are technically covering as many details as the judges do. Not only does this impose a lot to work on during only a single week, but it also practically rids much of the strong effect the judge's reviews should have (basically, they're just more detailed Public Reviews instead of distinguished coverings of every simfile in the competition minus the one the particular judge entered). In terms of public reviews, I strongly prefer several reviews that don't cover as much over fewer which instead do. Besides, less pressure on the requirements would allow the reviewers to more thoroughly explain the core details about each and every simfile. Yes, I know we're trying out something different during this competition, but that doesn't mean I don't have the right to say that it doesn't really work out too well.
Both that, and the fact that school is eating up a ton of everyone else's working time, actually. The big competition during the Summer should work out marvelously with a few tweaks to the rules.
That's my early feedback.

I just started work on Sunday, and I've only worked every other day this week, so I guess that's why I got mine out so quickly, despite taking time now and then to work on my Late Night Love entries.

I agree with #Infinity - I haven't done any yet because they're basically as much effort as judging and I don't really have the time. As I said I might do some informal comments later on just the heavy charts but they won't be scored or count as public reviews. | |

Edit: Since this is still the last post, I'll add this here instead of double-posting. I've recently noticed that the "Contents" section does not list the length requirements of the entry's song. Since it lists the requirements and restrictions of all other required files, it should list this info, also. (As a side note, the length limit is currently listed in the File Making Notes section.)
