I'm not sure of the exact direction of OSC in the future (we still gotta decide who the new project lead is - I don't want to be leading this without any oversight, we've seen some examples of where that can lead and they're not pretty ), but rest assured that I've never had any issues with BlueSS's management style, and I'm glad to have known him and worked with him over these years.

I joined this site shortly before OSC 4, and very quickly developed a significant amount of respect for you, and NekoIncardine, because of how well OSC 4 was run. I'm sure the experience gained during your time as a Mod on this site will be useful to you in the future, and I wish you the best of luck in your travels.

To whom this may concern:

You probably will never know me as I will probably never know you, but from what I've read you are making the right choice and realizing that you were becoming entangeled in a giant web that revolved around StepMania, DDR, and any other scrolling arrow dance game (and PUMP, but thats different... i think). Education is very important to all, and I doubt (i might be mistaken) that you were getting paid to be a moderator... and even if you were it isn't worth becoming agnostic or even worth atheist over a video game (no matter how addictive it may be). I'm sure Bemanistyle will suffer a great loss if you do permanently go, but if you eventually decide to stay what you need to do is limit how long you have to play video games (personally I have a set 1 - 1 & 1/2 hr time limit on weekdays and 2hrs on weekends to play games. This help me in that I keep track of my homework after the time limit and also makes sure that I keep a social life. Best of luck in all you do and I trust you find luck in all you do. haha, no offense taken. None of the positions on this site are paid, we all do/did the work here on volunteer status because we're hardcore like that.

And Pump is just like DDR, just with 5 arrows and way sexier videos. :P

But I still check this once in a while, as you see, but limiting my time here has given me more time for other important things in my life right now as you were assuming.

Your many hours of volunteer work do not go unappreciated...having run conferences and having spent hours doing this sort of stuff too, I really appreciate how it can be a thankless (and sometimes even troublesome) thing to do, regardless, you're awesome for the work you've put in, and wish you the best of luck with whatever you're moving on to!

I never stated it in my Read Me for my OSC BoNG entry, so I will now. Thanks so much, BlueSS, for running DDR OSC to stand the test of time, as well as being one of the best and most easy-going moderators anyone could ask for. I will sincerely miss you, and I wish you good luck in the future.
