And to Akira: Lol, is Keys Me the name of the song? Who sings it? I'm gonna go see if I can find it somewhere.

Reading Akira's reviews, I thought they were okay except for taking points off for Hard being too "DDR like". That's what ITG does. We already had this discussion about how ITG steps were a superset of DDR, and there are ITG songs which don't use hands/mines at all on any difficulty, after all. If there's no problem with the steps themselves I don't see any reason to penalise them.
And what's wrong with my graphics? >_> Several people have said that, but the graphics represent what the song is about exactly, far better than if I just grabbed some random abstract 3D image off Deviantart and added text to that (which probably would have gotten me more marks at this rate). Feh.

We take the averages, so sometimes they actually help other songs out if other people didn't like the song that had previously reviewed.

If a gap issue is minor enough to be fixed by autosyncing, it should not be considered an issue. | I don't think the issue is with the gap in Mario Takes a Walk, as it seems to be that it goes on/off. (aka, the bpm changes but wasn't adjusted properly in the stepfile) I autosynched it before playing it, like all the files, and it still went off.

One thing that I can't tolerate are stupid amounts of double-steps in charts just to make them more difficult and awkward, and so I never knowingly include double-steps in any sim I do (apart from some freeze step combos and in easy Light steps...)
Any double-step section you find, please try playing it again treating the steps as crossovers or spins, as that is how I will have designed them to be played...

It's doublestepping in my mind.

Total Tokens: 285,587.60 Donate Tokens | Well, I was going to make a post in the public review about this ITG contest, but then again, I'm not too experienced with ITG. However, I did make a review for the KB contest. I just wanted to give a few comments to those simfiles who really need them.
I'll start with, CHEAP TRICK KINDA GIRL
Wow, totally understand how the_ditz made this. Good song for ITG. And woah, where did your .avi movies come from? They were really great! Steps were pretty good too. And the graphics really resemble those of the ITG type. Where you had the bg go with the lyrics to say "CHEAP TRICK KINDA GIRL" was totally orriginal. It was pretty funny too. Well, as you can tell, I liked this sim quite a bit. Clear Blue Water
Amazing song and awsome heavy steps. I really loved the heavy steps. They flowed oh soo well with the music. The freezes were nice and handplants were great. Well... too bad you didn't make these yourself! Kiss Me
Hmm... a PIU song? Is that allowed in this compitition? Oh well. The video was really nice since it was the PIU version. Ooh, and the karaoke steps were fun, but they were too repetitive. You should have had more of a regular step pattern with short 8ths and quarter notes since heavy was a 7, but the karaoke steps really pulled on to a harder difficulty. You kind of overused them. Challenge was nice though. I still enjoyed this sim.
I guess those were 3 of my favorite sims. I'm not going to review all of them, of course, since this isn't the public review section... but I'm just giving credit to these 3 which I seemed to enjoy a little more than the others in the pack. So, I hope my comments helped to those of whom I reviewed.
