No, more like the banner was nothing at all like the background. The only thing they have in common is the font, which in the case of the banner is just pasted on a black backdrop.

Not especially. It'd be nice if he were more clear on that (I assume you could PM him to get him to add some more) but at least saying things aren't technically correct/sound is a valid concern for some people.

You know guys, posting non-reviews in the reviews topic to get people to stop posting non-reviews doesn't entirely help the situation :P

Well, I'm mostly just disappointed because I thought Zounder had reviewed the KB division or something, until I clicked the topic

Sorry dude, I did it last year and people stopped (I think), so I figured I'd give it another shot. But you're right, stooping to that level is probably not the right way to do it.

Also, you don't want me reviewing the keyboard section, I know absolutely nothing about keyboard simfiles... I'd have nothing to back my opinions with. I'm not even that good at passing the harder ones either.

I'm just waiting patiently for the DDR division.

question: is giving numbers less than 1 (resulting in an overall score of less than 3/10) allowed? i don't plan on going back to change my numbers for these reviews but i'd make full usage of 0-10 for itg and ddr file reviews

Good luck finding the graphics on google, considering they're from photos I took myself and added text to. You also might want to just get better at timing the start, considering those steps do match the sounds played in the music (having seen the Pop'n notechart, I am certain).

And yeah, I'm sure 8th note stream in a song that's made of 8th notes is random and unneeded. I guess I should have tried not following the music, or something.

Can't wait for the ITG simfiles to be released so I can see my first set of competition that I can compare to my entry, as well as see lots of feedback for my simfile. I didn't decide to review the keyboard songs since I can't really determine what makes keyboard stepfiles good due to my lack of ability to pass stuff like fffff Oni (I have passed Emerald Sword with a B, though), but I'm raring to review the ITG songs like I did back when I posted reviews on Amazon. Same goes with the DDR stepfiles.

A short list of official ddr songs that have banners NOT similar to the BG. Just..for future reference...

I could also post a list of songs where the banners and BGs have the same font, if you want...

Look, I'm going to state my opinion on the reviews of these things: as technically good as they may be, I think we should be allowed to dock points as we see fit just on the grounds of not liking the damn thing. Your banner sucked, ok? Get over it. Do better next time.
