Total Tokens: 7,496.40 Donate Tokens | No OSC 6? So apparently, BlueSS confirmed that the next competition isn't going to be an OSC. May I please ask, what will the the next simfile competition here be? How is it going to differ enough from OSC that it receives a new name?
I'm posting this mainly because the fact that the next competition isn't an OSC may greatly interfere with everyone's pre-reservation plans for the next competition.

I have no part in the new competition, so I'm just going on what Neko and I had discussed right as OSC 5 was coming to a close.
Until then don't worry about debunking rules or trying to find holes to break or ways to annoy people by being anal about how something is done.

I'm not going for 'bigger and better', necessarily, but there are some ignificant improvements in concepting.
However.. This isn't gonna be for a quite a while. I've too much on my plate right now.

It's pretty obvious to me because of the numerous posts that you made about you either being behind me in the Bracket 2 results, only beating my Together file in the finals and no one elses, not expecting whatsoever for my file to pass the challenge round, etc, etc, etc. I've already made it clear here that my file only made it because of BLueSS perfect score. You really don't have to tell everyone again that that's the reason why. And I would expect that this competition isn't based on what only you personally think. I'm sure people are on your side, but others may disagree (BLueSS of course). I didn't have to make the finals at all, but the judges averaged results, + my Bracket 2 result score (which you are probably forgetting. This is why This Is Love didn't make it) showed that I deserved the spot. Also, if you look back into the public reviews for the solo challenge round, you'll notice that not many people favored over there. I'm pretty certain that the public averaged a 4th place on my sim. Samba Brazil by zeh was, I think, in 3rd by public reviews, but remember, judges and past B2 result scores made my file elgible for the final round. By the way, my Together file getting 12th out of 12 in the finals should be enough for you to show that your file, acording to you, is better than mine. There shouldn't be a significant reason why you should need to elaborate on this fact. All I want is respect for all of the files in this competition, no matter how good or bad you may think each one is. And yes, including Tunak Tunak Tun.
Whew... ok, back on the subject. I think it's a good thing that OSC 6 will no longer be called "OSC" because of a drastic change. That is, BLueSS will no longer be included in the tournament. I think bemanistyle should give major credit to all BLueSS has done by changing the name, and possibly competition rules and order, of the beloved OSC into something more respectable.

While another non-judge might think that using rolls can be a good thing. Person 1's opinion shouldn't be weighted more than Person 2.
Or make me a judge. | |

Personally I think the judges should leave their opinions on both out of it and merely grade based on appropriate usage of each based on examples already in the game.

All I want is respect for all of the files in this competition, no matter how good or bad you may think each one is. And yes, including Tunak Tunak Tun. | Okay, first off, let me say that I most certainly don't hate your file. I loved it, rated it a 9.5 in my PR, and believed it should've gotten a lot more votes during the finals (in fact, I believe I was the one who gave it its only vote). It thus makes it seem more convincing to me to state that my simfile was rated even higher than another that I rated 9.5 to during the public reviews. That statement about how BlueSS's perfect score was the main reason Together made finals was actually only thrown in because I'd predict more a more average review for Love Is Eternity Solo to not allow your simfile to procede to the finals. Thus, I'd say the same for anyone if they were put in the same situation.

I'm not going to do any major docking outright for rolls but 1) I don't like having to use two different versions of SM (which is more a problem with their progress than anything) and 2) I haven't yet seen a decent use of them. The one time I found an ITG2 cabinet, I reached the same conclusion.

What about the "Bemanistyle Extraordinary Simfile Tournament", or the BEST?

I'm so clever. | Not that clever. Way back when (before my time) there was a tournament named something like Bemanistyle Simfile Tournament With An Unnecessarily Long I(something) Title, or BeST WAULIT.
