It's for close calls in file size, basically. If the entry's 12.2 MB and the video's reasonably well-compressed and you didn't use uncompressed WAV files or something, you're in. Reasonable compression without losing TOO MUCH quality can be attained in many ways, though the typical rule is, the higher quality the source, the better looking the compressed form will be. If you're compressing a DivX of a Matrix film and a DVD of it to the same size in another, the one from the DVD will look better. (Note: I don't advocate piracy here, only note that format compressions sometimes use the Matrix trilogy is often a benchmark for it's intricate effects, which are easy for bad compression to turn into nasty results.)
