Well my smfile has progressed ! I have the graphics done, the movie arrangement is done and the .sm file is done also. I hesitate between two lenghts of the acutal music. If I shorten it up, you hear it has been cutted, but if I make it longer, it's a bit repetitive IMO. Buut I'm finishing it sooner or later

!

EDIT : Oh and by the way, I'm in the DDR division hehe

Lol, my DDR division song has been ready since just after OSC4. I probably won't enter any other divisions.

I'm a judge for the keyboard division...again. Have fun and for the love of GOD, no one try to enter anything like Fuck This Shit or Queen Anne's Revenge. Those things were PAINFUL.

I had an entry ready since I lost badly last year. BUT, I probably won't submit it.

As for my ITG entry, I believe this is gonna be the hardest thing (personally) I've ever been able to accomplish. Not so much as in difficulty for the simfile, just in difficulity in me making it. It will be my first ITG style steps I've ever done. Is it really smart to even enter something you've never tried previously?

I'm done simfiles (DDR) for a while, but they're okay. I was gonna enter POP this year, but last year's winner beat me to that a year ahead.

As for my DDR entry this year, well, I'm still not done writing the song.

BlueSS: As for that link, it's too much philosophy. I think I'll stick to doing crap steps and learning the non philosophical way.

Wow, I didn't think that much could be written about arrow placement and such. Stepology scares me.

What's scary is that people take that BS seriously but refuse to use the correct cdtitle.

Irxevan, we know now that you are frustrated for the #cdtitle space, but now it's just getting annoying.

You made a post for the #cdtitle case and you explained clearly your thoughts about it. We saw that post (well, mostly people did) and we know what you think now. However, #cdtitle has been used, since the start of simfile making, as a space for stepartists to put their icon or name as a credit to the song.

We could ALWAYS rename #cdtitle to #creditimg or something, but it would take too much time and it would bring up many compatibility issues, which we can't control. Anyway, the rules said we could use the #cdtitle as an author credit and that's what people will do and it has been done for years now ! As said previously in the post, yes we can always give ourselves credits in the readme, but really it's not enough and the #credits is something that never shows on stepmania !

So I don't say you can't express your anger against the use of cdtitle, but do it in your thread , please and let us be !

I just realized that you saying that meant you are actually creating your own song. I've seen people do it before, but it still amazes me. I'd never be able to come up with a song all on my own, and even if I did, I'd NEVER be able to put it online for everyone to see. I'd be too nervous about everyone criticizing it.
