Question Can't Delete certain BGanimations Files

On stepmania I am trying to delete trance5 and pop7 from a pack of animations I downloaded but I can't delete. I get a message saying,
Cannot Delete trance5/pop7: It is being used by another person or program.
Close any programs that are using the file and try again.
Does anyone know how to delete it? All I get is a black screen for a BGanimation now. (I deleted the files inside it)

That sort of thing happens with any arbitrary file at random moments with Windows. Just delete the folder next time you turn your computer off and on.

Usually this happens when an animation is used in StepMania last.

It still thinks it is being used for some reason.

Restart the computer, then delete the files, as already stated.

Stepmania never released the animation file back to the OS, so to speak. That's why this sort of thing might happen. Just take the alread stated advice.
