Default Changeing Speed

Ok when I go to edit, and all I want to change my speed, but I want it to go .01 instead of +.2 for everytime I hold it, how can I change that?

So when I press f8 it only increases by 1 instead of 2

3.9 increments by .02 and only .02 as far as I know. Versions above that, you should be able to set the BPM to whatever you want manually, without having to use F7 and F8 for tempo control. I'm not exactly sure that there is a .01BPM per key fix for version 3.9 (probably is but it's not a big deal for me).

Additionally, if you still must use 3.9, you're probably better off changing the BPM a slight amount, saving it, and then going into the .SM or .DWI file itself with StepMania still open and editing the BPM in that you want in Notepad. Save the file, hit ESC in SM and reload from disk.

I can't remember exactly, but shift or ctrl or alt + F7/F8 should make it increment/decrement by .01 bpm.

you can also edit the bpm manually through the .sm or .dwi file.

you just have to know the exact time the bpm change occurs in order to find it in the .sm or .dwi
