Changing the menu...

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but is it possible to change the options menu in Stepmania (the one right before you play a song.) I figured out that I can change the values for each row, such as making the speed options only .75x, 1x, 1.5x, and 2x. But I haven't figured out how to get rid of rows, everything I've tried has only caused a crash. I basically want to get rid of every option in the menu except speed, steps, and character, but also keep the values for mines (on), noteskins (note), holds (on), persp (overhead), as well as completely get rid of the second page from appearing and keeping the values. Is any of this possible?

Also, is it possible to make the 'Select difficulty screen' always start at heavy, or just skip this altogether and start you at heavy?

i second this, ive been looking around through things looking for some way to do it. heavy default is also a plus i hate tabbing through it at warp speed wasting precious milliseconds. default single mode would be nice too

to keep the 2nd menu from appearing, under machine options, change "show song options" to "ask." that way, you can access that 2nd menu by hitting start again after leaving the first one, but it own't go to it automatically.
as for skipping the select difficulty screen, the ITG themes do it, so there must be a way. check out their metrics.

Okay, thanks to chaosmaster I got rid of the second menu, and playing around with the metric I made it have it go heavy to beginner rather than beginner to heavy so I don't have to scroll to the right. I also had to change the name of the graphics to get this to go right, if anyone wants me to make a tutorial, just ask.
