Course difficulty questions...

I am creating the CRS files for the oni and nonstops for supernova 1 and 2 (plus adding the extreme ones from the beware pack).

When I run this course, the first songs are Heavy (not standard) like the file states. Is there something is stepmania that will not allow an oni course to have medium (standard) steps? Here is the crs file

rather than using medium, try maniac.

you mean trick

trick was standard, maniac was heavy

also remove the last : so that it says something like

#SONGance Dance Revolution 8th Mix -DDR EXTREME-/Dance Dance Revolution:Medium;

also if you are going to use those folders make sure the name of the folder is EXACTLY correct

you don't have to use them in stepmania (you did in DWI and older builds of stepmania) as long as there are no duplicate named songs (example, any course with Fantasy in it would get confused between the Max2 Fantasy and the DDRMAX Fantasy)

lastly, try hitting up up to go down in difficulty, it might work then

also in case you didn't notice it appears your course is set up to remove a life if you get under a perfect

#SONGance Dance Revolution SuperNova/DOESN'T REALLY MATTER:Hard;

EDIT- I believe it is a bug with stepmania 3.9plus --- if I change the difficulty to beginner it shows up basic, medium is heavy, and heavy is challenge...

Let me test it on a clean 3.9 install
