Creating an Announcer Pack

Hello. I'm working on creating an announcer pack for StepMania right now, and I just need a bit of help to get my project going. I downloaded the 3rd Mix announcer pack from the StepMania website and I'm replacing the files with files of my own to create my own announcer (just so I have a bit of a skeleton to work off of). I have replaced quite a few of the original files, but I have run into a problem. Only one of my sound files actually plays (I have no idea why that one does and the others don't). All of the original announcer's files play, but I can't get my custom ones to work. Is there any special something I must do to the file or any special format I must save it in to get it to work?
