Creating a slowdown on stepmania.

Hello, sorry if its in the wrong place.

I was gonna try to make a stepchart, as there is a slow down in the song, I was wondering whats the best way to split the down till lets say the voice starts talking. Before it does I want the end of the freeze to stop completely for like 2 secs, then the voice talks then it goes back to normal speed of 150.

F7 and F8 changes the BPM while editing. Choose the section and press F7 to decrease the BPM. F8 on the other hand is to increase.

EDIT: F9 and F10 is to set the time of freezing in the section

Not to mention if you're using 3.95, you can also choose to change the BPM to any particular one from pressing either ENTER or ESC. There should be a particular option for that.

Only thing is, I haven't used 3.95 for editing in a long time and it was rare at that. It was a nice little tool to have, though, because I usually deal in quite a few songs that don't have the same BPM throughout...and holding a button while pressing TAB to make it cycle through faster gets a little ridiculous when such a feature exists elsewhere.

Oh, and for a pause, I generally prefer to highlight the beats involved in the pause and converting them all into the pause. This won't mess up the note alignments afterwards.
