It's me again, the noob >.<; I'm currently trying to make my own .crs file telling it to which music to play for the extra stage
I was able to set which song I want to play regardless of what folder you are playing, I was able to get up modifiers. However, I can not how to do the following
1)Having the meter start at full guage and decreases when you miss up, but will not recover (just like the original ddr)
2)Make it sudden death for Another Extra Stage
thanks for you help
added
with the crs file I have made, the life meter is just like the normal life bar, goes up and down

anything that I bolded you can slap a % onto and make it do it by that much (goes by % of the BPM). Also, any installed noteskins you have can be used as valid mods You can also apply these mods to nonstop courses as well:
#MODS: TIME=(the second count of the song):LEN=(duration):MODS=(modifiers):
#SONG  as usual);
example:
#MODS: TIME=20:LEN=20:MODS=beat500%:
#MODS: TIME=40:LEN=10:MODS=wave;
also this thread has been stickied for future reference to anyone else who's got questions about courses
#SONG:test/CANON-D:HARD:3x;

I thought wave was a scrolling mod like boost and brake. | |

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Question:
how do I set a song in a course in such a way that when you highlight the course in SM, the song will be shown as question marks? (This is assuming I have a selected song, and it's not radomly selected by the program.)

Marketplace Rating: 0 | As far as I know, the only way you can display course songs with ???s is when you set them with the "random" variable. I don't believe you can do that just yet.
I know what you're talking about, though. It'd be nice if Stepmania implemented something like that.
They should also implement a color-tag so that we can color the courses whatever color we want. i.e. 伝説鬼, 鬼の遅道, IIDX BOSS, etc.

- the timer values (when you trigger your mod attacks starts/ends) are relative to the song length, and not to the overall course length (thank God!)
- very important: you can use END instead of LEN to determine when a mod should end (easier to spot than to calculate the length) but if you do so, be careful... if you place a mod with a start time value that is HIGHER than the end time value (that is, if you place TIME=40:END=20) StepMania will crash before the song is played!. Tested it for you... so, be extremely careful about the numbers you type.
Just so you could know...

Just so you could know... | I usually use LEN instead of END to avoid the problem you described
Oh and Tougakiryuu, you can put a percent on anything that isn't a binary option (i.e. nomine, shuffle, solo noteskin, etc. things that don't make sense to have a percent in front of them). The only thing is that things get a little crazy.
Try: 150% mini, 600% drunk, 50% flip, 10% alternate, 20% split.
