CRS file basics

Sorry for the large bump but this relates to courses and I don't want to start a new thread for something simple.

What are the differences in 3.95 courses and 4.0 courses? I know some of the modifier's names need to be changed to work in 4.0 but I'm not sure of all of them and to what, not to mention I'm not sure of other minute changes.

Also, any chance of seeing a course thing set up soon? I know the main issue is official songs in courses aren't allowed to be distributed here but I am making a course that features Ultramix series songs and want to be able to distribute the .CRS file without the official sims, making a course DB a nice idea if done right.

From what I know, actually the only hardcore difference is that, to my knowledge, 4.0 doesn't allow noteskin attacks. Other than that, I wouldn't know, 3.95 is just better so I don't bother with 4.0.

Hmm... apparently there seem to be no differences, as I had a friend of mine test out this course on 4.0 with no problems. Odd, considering I remember that in 4.0 Mini is supposed to be Tiny or something to that degree. Must have changed in the current release...

And I am finishing up a course but lack a place to host it because it contains official songs. Here's the course if you are interested at taking a peek.

Any chance of there being a course database here or somewhere soon so I can have someplace to host these courses I make, whether with official songs or original songs?
