Custom Folder Order

I want to put the song group folders in the order I want. Reason is I'm downloading the DWI extreme series. The order is this:

I,II,III,IV,V,VI,VII,VIII,IX,X,GH,GTI,X1,X2,X3,X4, X5,GTI2,X6,X7,X8,X9,X10,GH2,GTI3,S1,S2,S3,SCM,S4,S 5,GTI4

but Stepmania will put it like this:

I,GTI,GTI2,GTI3,GTI4,GH,GH2,II,III,IV,IX,S1,S2,S3, S4,S5,SCM,V,VI,VII,VIII,X,X1,X2,X3,X4,X5,X6,X7,X8, X9,X10

Is there any way to set a custom song folder order? Does it involve deep metrics or just creating a .sm or whatever file? Or can you do it at all?

I'd like to know this too. My ssfolders sorts wrong too. It goes 22-27 and then starts form 1. How to fix this?

It's all down to alphabetical order. The only, non-metric way I can think of here is doing:

DWI EXTREME 1 - I
DWI EXTREME 2 - II
DWI EXTREME 3 - III
...and when you get to 9, continue with letters.

As for an easier way, I don't know. Maybe I'll try it out.

have you tried deleting the cache and making sure that all of the folders are named correctly? it also might help if you use a 0 in single-digit folder names to keep them in order (DWI Extreme 01, DWI Extreme 02, etc)

So I guess you can't manually set specifically which folders you want to go in which order. Okay, I'll find a workaround.

The only "work-around" for that is a severe hard code change... have fun with that.
