guys ffr sucks because it doesn't have speed mods because i can't play anything at 1x even though people have been playing at 1x for over 7 years now

stepmania it's the best simulator, because it's easy to create courses, songs, etc., and it's very similar to the arcade.

DWI is the most similar to the arcade because it's got like 2 speed mods.

Is SM and FFR the only living Simulaters?
Because all the other sites looks old.
DWI (which does still have a strong following) hasn't been updated since 2003.

I love SM. It's an amazing program.
But FFR... Not a big fan.
Way to gimicky since it's in flash.
But I have to give them credit for giving it a different feel...

Of course, if you're trying to make an actual dance pad set-up, or want to use your own songs, Flash Flash Revolution isn't any sort of help.

At one point in time I considered trying Dance with Intensity over Stepmania, but I really don't want to "get stuck" with an unsupported piece of software.

hey everybody! im sorta new to stepmania but ive been playing ddr for about 2and a half years. um... im 15 and i live in chicago. ive had stepmania for about a week and have a little over 1100 songs. so for that as my introduction, i made my first song today.

OH! also, how to make a background and a picture thing for a song?
