DDRMAX and DDRMAX2 Random Movies

I'm looking for random videos of DDRMAX and DDRMAX2. Anybody know where I can get them? I already have DDR Extreme random videos.

And also, if possible, where can I find random videos of DDR Party Collection?

And one more thing: where can I get stepmania icons? Y'know, the ones that swivel on the banner of a song? I can't find any of them.

DDRUK has them 'swiveling things' (called CDTitles), registration needed.

You can try stepmaniamedia.com for random movies, but it's in spanish, registration is needed and the random movies can be redundant since some of them are named differently.

There's also ollec's site (ollec2004.ddruk.com), he has scripts for most ddrmax-extreme era songs, plus some random movies you may not find in beware's or stepmania media's pack.

Party Collection random movies should be included in beware's pack, but for others (like Moonlight Shadow) just try the packs listed above and read ollec's scripts to find which song has which random movies.

vallarta18 from flashflashrevolution.com might have some random movies not found in the packs I listed above (such as the dancing lady from i feel... on ddrmax2 japan) on his simfiles.

The DDRMAX3 (non-official) song pack from nDDRo contains a different set of random movies than those found above like some of the clips used for the DDRMAX scripts of "So Deep (Perfect Sphere Remix)" and "true...". (Note that not all the clips required by these two songs are available in the pack).

The video pack of the DM Ashura simfile pack by our fellow member Mdx Maxx also includes a few exclusive clips which may not be found in the ones listed above. Visit his thread for more info about this.

For Mdx Maxx: If you do not want me to promote your video pack and by extension, your simfile pack this way, let me know and I'll remove your entry here.

The Main Place to get DDR BG movies is "www.stepmainamedia.com" they have all the old DDR BG movies from MAX to Extreme. WARNING, everything is in spanish and you need to get a account.

I've been to stepmania media and they don't have all of them. I already have all of the Extreme videos. I just need the MAX, MAX2 and Party Collection. I can't find a few of them such as Riyu's videos in true...(radio edit) and true...(Trance Sunrise Mix).

They are that hard to find, the scripts for them exist, but finding the random movies is another story.

hes right that place has the most videos but you need to register and by the way to change spanish to english google stepmainamedia then press translate page then it will be in english

I remember someone posted a whole batch of I presume, scripts and random movies of DDRMAX on the DDR thread here. The one who posted says, that he got them from the DDR Latin America or bailesimulado (I forgot) website. Try checking the infractions forum to find the post. The packs, uploaded to sendspace more or less 1 year ago, are now expired.

I am sorry for pushing this issue. I downloaded beware's pack. I also downloaded all the random movies from the spanish site as well. I put all the bg into the correct folders but now the movies do not play. Is there a special file or script that I have to place in the actual mix folder. I cannot stand the layout of bewares pack because I have all my songs in my Stepmania neatly organized into the correct mix folders. Any help would be appreciated. I use to have my bg animations correct but somehow managed to mess it up. I just uninstalled stepmania due to bewares extreme emulator theme taking over.

I'm sorry for the late reply.

Anyway, the problem might be on the warning I placed when I listed Stepmania Media as a source.

The best example is "kaleidoscope" vs. "kaliedoscope" (note the i and the e).
Check the folders for files named as the latter instead of the former (or vice-versa) and adjust accordingly (rename, delete, etc. and "Bizarre Love Triangle" brought this problem to my attention). There's also "linesin" vs. "vortex1."

Since there really is no standard (other than the one we already use) to the naming of the random movies, just delete the lesser used duplicate movie.

Oh, I also updated my list on my earlier post in this thread.

StepmaniaMedia no longer hosts files (this is a heads-up to those who will consider still downloading files from their site). Or you didn't bother checking it, Mr. Robot?

Why bother with a password you can't use? And this is MY account I shared.

Ahem. A quick google search may show results to where you may find additional bg videos. You can also keep a sharp eye on significant sites and run them on web archive to see if you can browse or download files (like Miryokuteki's old site). I haven't done this on DDRManiax.

EDIT: FFR got rid of DDR simfiles on their site, so we are unable to get vallarta's packs. This puts the dancing lady from i feel...'s video permanently away from our grasp, unless he or someone else uploads it elsewhere (we can't be too sure that youtube didn't butcher the quality too much).
