Default Does StepMania support a 7/32nd arrow?

I have a sound at the 7/32nd beat or something. 6/32nd (a green arrow) is too early, and a 1/16th (yellow) is too late.

Is this possible without doubling the BPM?

Are you using SM 3.9? I'm pretty sure that 3.95 and 4.0 go all the way up to 192nd beats and everywhere in between. There should be something there that will feel onsync.

If this is a pad file I don't really see the reason to be so accurate. No one will notice. Unless, however, there are numerous of these 128th notes, or whatever the heck they are, in the song. I'm assuming this IS a a pad file because I don't ever remember seeing you make a keyboard chart.

I would wonder, also, if it's a subtle change in the BPM in the song you're dealing with. I've simmed my fair share of 'live' songs and them not be completely on beat the entire time (would drift up or down in BPM slightly).

No.

Stepmania does not handle quantization finer than 192nds (48 notes per beat)

(note that if you're using 3.9 you can still use 192nds, you just can't access them directly. Using the expand/compress tool under the enter button, for example, will sync to the nearest 192nd)

Either set the bpm so that it fits on 192nds or use the nearest 192nd note.

If you have it less than 0.0125 of a second off (that's the radius of the j7 marvelous window a.k.a. ridiculous) then it's close enough for anyone.

yeah why bother with such fractions of tempo. use a lil bpm tweaking.
