Default Easiest way to connect arcade pads to a computer

What is the easiest way to connect DDR/PIU pads to a computer. Do I need anything more than an I-Pac? Is it possible to just connect the pads to the I-Pac and I have a perfect JAMMA converter for my computer?

Well, considering DDR machines are JAMMA based, you need a J-Pac, not an I-Pac.

an I-pac is fine, but you'll have to splice alot of wiring to make it work. If you want to preserve your pads, get a j-pac and just snap the harness on there.

Dont forget to bridge the ground wires if you use a Jpac. The Jpac is wired with a single ground by default which can only be used with (at max) an 8 way joystick, as such the < > and ^ V jumps will not work, however, in the tutorial thread anthony posted around here a while ago theres instructions on how to bridge the grounding wires inside the pad to allow for those jumps to happen.

No damage to the pads, completely reverseable, ask the guy who bought DDR 5th from TGA.
