Default Help with dance pads

Hello, peope of bemanistyle.com - #1 In music game coverage - Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania, IIDX, Guitar Hero, Rock Band.

I have a question. I want to start with dance pads. Now, i found two types, one is a Ignition pad, from positive gaming, and the other is just a plastic one. The plastic is 15 Euro, and the Ignition pad can i get for 25 euro ^^. But now, what is the best to START with? If you have a opinion, can you please say me why you don't recommend that dance pad, or why you do recommend it? Thanks for listening. ^^

Edit: Or, if you have any other pads recommended, post them here too. I am happy to read them. And,, can you search for me that dance pad 25 euro or less? I don't have much money, and i am a starter too, keep that in mind ^^.

I have a positive gaming plastic pad, works fine. It reacts very good the steps. The only thing is that it slides around as hell, making it impossible to complete harder songs. I usually tape it to the floor or something like that. I don't know really, but I'd prefer a metal pad (buying one sometime), so go for that instead of plastic. I presume the metal pads have some sort of rubberfeet under so that they don't slide as much as the plastic ones.

most of them have a rubber bottom. the cobalt flux that I own came with grip tape which helps a lot with it sliding if its on carpet.

Ignition pads are good but I would just use one of those until you can save up enough money to get a cobalt flux or blue shark.

I would say get a RedOctane Ignition, but since you don't have that much money to spend on it go with the Positive Gaming "ignition" pad. You really don't want anything that doesn't have raised/recessed arrow panels.
